Brilliant medieval town in Navarre with great tapas in the bars on the square. We are sure that applies to many places in Spain though!
Via Tripadvisor we found this small restaurant. Really cheap but great Catalan food and served in style. Really nice escalivada (grilled vegetables on toast), cod and wild boar.
Nice restaurant with view on the sea. In the Paella area - and therefore we went for...Paella. Tasted really nice. Great salad and desert as well.
A nice surprise. We just went for a coffee after a morning run, but it turned into a full breakfast with Acai, yogurt, fruits, croissants. Very nice!
Great restaurant in Nerja close to the Balcony of Europe, Michelin recommended but within reasonable price ranges. Great lunch. Dutch / Spanish ownership
Nice vegan/vegetarian food after our trip to the Rock - Watermelon gazpacho, banana bread with yoghurt, brie (replacement) on sourdough!
Great simple street food restaurant with live music and poke bowls (tuna, vegetable), pancakes
A nice find. In the middle of the salinas (salt winning area) a eco friendly restaurant with some special Andalusian dishes (eg eggplant with cane syrup) and a salt museum. Possibility to spot flamingos as well.
Posh restaurant in Salamanca but very nice. Great tuna rojo and desserts. Great service
Great 'Druid' inspired restaurant in the forest with lots of wooden tables and seats under trees, old buildings, etc Great food as well, specially the mixed vegetables grill, stone grilled meat (self service, great to do!) and the cheese mouse.
Beautiful view over the mountains and beaches of Orinon and simple, but nice food. Lots of tomato based dishes (you can even buy tomatoes from them). Great grill - Dorade, Gambas.
